of course, ang di ko ya makalimtan na beastfriend and classmate na si atty. sarah eh na always keep in touch gid ya kami till now no matter where we are…the rest na classmates medyo blurred na..ahahah..joke!! sensya na..i was out of bacolod city nung college days..si carlo martin and kristina verdadero lang ang naging schoolmate ko..hi, guys!

Yes, it’s hard for me to explain the nostalgic feeling of knowing that we have great guys, like you, who started this wonderful web site, the products of my beloved alma mater. You did a commendable act by stablishing a link to our fellow grads and friends around the world with this web site. I am proud of you guys. Hindi naman tayo (fellow grads) huli with your skills, talents and imagination. Right? Of course! I also sense a tinge of loneliness when I realize that those happy days, the tears and joys and great fun, ligaw sa tingin at kababa sa dibdib looking sa magandang tanawin at sa mga mahinhin, you know what I mean, and then you forgot your assignments, your home work, but OK lang, you still had time to catch up. And then all of a sudden, you were now graduating. My goodness, ang bilis ng panahon. You miss those things, don’t you? I do. I know that those days will never come back because they are now part of history. But in my mind, a cherished memory.

By the way, anybody who knows of anyone who are members of Class 53? I have some friends who wish to contact. If you do, we’ll be glad to hear.

Time flies so fast and we hardly notice or know, but my memory will always linger wherever I go. I love my alma mater so much, probably as much as you do, but the deed you have done to her and through her, providing a link to all of us fellow grads to communicate or exchange pleasantries and ideas impresses us much more. Comments: I was just surfing for the exact date of the NOHS General Alumni Homecoming for the year 2004 when I happenned to open your website, Class 1987. I was so surprised to see the pictures of my daughter NYLA L. SAY together with some of her classmates taken probably during the 2003 general homecoming of NOHS. Unbelievable…. I could hardly recognized her. I forgot that she belong to Class 1987. I’m so glad she’s in a group of jolly people.

I belong to Class 1958 and my sister Cora Lopez (class 1963) and brother Dante Lopez (class 1954-golden jubilarian) all of us from US are planning to attend the general homecoming this 2004. I’m from class 77 and I’m impressed with your website. I’m glad to know that NOHS graduates are proud of where they came from. My name is Emmanuel Tabang and we have an alumni association here called Negros Occidental High School General Alumni Association Illinois Chapter. We have a project back home (NOHS). We have put up a covered walkway and we sell each span for $100. I don’t know the conversion in Philipine money. Whoever is interested they could put there own greetings or advertisement. The covered walkway is in the back of NOHS. The proceeds of this project will go to a scholarship program for deserving students of our beloved alma mater. Comments: I have signed in a few months ago, but everytime I turn into this wonderful NOHS website and listen to the beloved Alma Mater NOHS song, I cannot resist the urge to play it again one more time, and another one more time. Does that happen to anyone of you? It does to me! It’s because of the unexplained nostalgic feeling — yes, it’s so pleasant and yet so sad, to note how time flies so slowly and yet so quickly that you thought you were there at NOHS yesterday, if not today, but that yesterday was long gone past in one’s memory. Don’t you think so, friends? I mean fellow NOHS “grads”? My stay with NOHS in years past was indeed memorable. I didn’t even think that would last. Sure, how I long the yesteryears to come back, but that’s an impossibility, of course, my friends. I am, hence, expressing my inner feeling on how I love this NOHS Reunion website. I reiterate that you, my fellow NOHS grads who created this website, have the exemplary vision to touch the hearts of our fellow NOHS grads to mingle and interact our minds and hearts of the past into present and the future, and to which, of course, the bygone years could not be retrieved no more. To you all, please accept my heartfelt appreciation for your noble act. We hope we can see each other again soon – if not in person, perhaps in your dreams and my dreams, or in our minds or memory, if that is possible at all.

Aloha, sayonara. In Japanese, they say, “honti ni, goshen setsu ni” or “waza waza, gonteini ni.” The first quote means “that is kind of you,” and the seond, “how thoughtful you are.”
